WORCESTER City striker Mark Owen is expected to win his battle to be fit to face Bognor Regis in Blue Square South tomorrow (3pm).
Owen sustained a foot injury during the first-half of last weekend’s 2-1 warm-up victory at Rugby Town and was forced to miss training on Tuesday night.
However, manager Richard Dryden was confident his new signing would be able to take some part in last night’s training session and be ready to make the trip to the south coast.
Dryden will want Owen to lead City’s attack in the absence of banned skipper Craig Wilding and could pair him with new signing Marco Adaggio.
The Italian spent pre-season with Kidderminster Harriers and Dryden says he would have no qualms about throwing him in against Bognor.
